Reiki is a Japenese energy healing practice that promotes relaxation, reduces stress, and faciliates healing through the transfer of universal life force energy. Reiki is a safe and gentle healing therapy, it helps to naturally heal and balance the whole body, During a reiki session I use gentle touch or place hands just above the clients body on several points from head to toe. A session takes 45 minutes in a peaceful setting allowing clients to unwind and relax. Initially the first reiki session will include a brief consultion to ensure you receive the best possible treatment tailored for you. This treatment is very much about you and your journey. You can either choose to have reiki as a one off for pure relaxtion or book a block and work on your inner self with me guiding and supporting you. Every reiki you receive is never the same. You may experience heat or cold or even tingling during the session. Some people see colours or feel so relaxed they drift off to sleep. You can chat or doze or sleep its entirely on how you feel at the time. Reiki is not a religion so there is no conflict with any other belief system **The Healing Crisis** Reiki will still be working and you will process this treatment for up to 48 hours later. The healing crisis is very natural and unique for each individual. This generally is very mild and light diet, rest is required. It make take you by surprise but I will always assure you that this is a positive sign that healing is/has taken place. This is the body's way of clearing out toxins and waste and healing.
